Posted by

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Monday served show-cause notices on Mona Food, Bionic Sea Food, Quasem Silk, M Hossain Garments Washing and Dying, Bangladesh Electricity Meter Company, Dynamic Textile Industries, Saleh Carpet Mills and Amam Sea Food, low-profile ‘Z’ category companies, as the companies, according to the bourse, violated the securities-related laws.
‘We have asked the companies to show causes why the bourse will not take punitive action against the companies,’ said an official of the DSE.
He said the bourse would take punitive action against rules violating companies for the betterment of the country’s capital market.
On March 11, the DSE served a show-cause notice to Rahima Food, a low-profile ‘Z’ category company, as the company, according to the bourse, violated the securities-related laws.
